Thanking her at length for the $500, mentioning the season in Boston, saying he may give a concert tour in France in February--but all depends on the dreadful war, saying that Gatti-Casazza tells him that, having Scotti and Gilly, he will not engage Ancona "Voilà la justice humaine!", asking if among her friends there is someone who could influence the directors of the Metropolitan Opera to engage him next season, mentioning Jordan, Russell, Urban, etc.
